In constantly renewed combinations and variants, there are only three protagonists who appear in the ball room –
the figure of the unrecognizable BlackGhillie, who in some cases assumes a portrait-like resemblance to the viewer,
MacGhillie, and the anonymous “mob, clothes without heads”.
